Coopers Hawk Vineyards and The Vines Restaurant - Located on 69 acres of land in the Lake Erie North Shore region, this winery was named after one of the many birds of prey that can be found in the green space that surrounds the vineyard. Commitment to wildlife and the environment, wines, and a beautiful menu – this vineyard has it all.

North 42 Degrees Estate Winery & Bistro 42 - Located among acres of grapes and lavender bushes. The scenery alone is enough to impress, and their in-house wines and food menu, provide the perfect lunch with a view.

Experiencing History

Essex County Steam and Gas Engine Museum - Showcases machinery throughout the ages. They also host a festival in the fall that brings audiences of all ages live entertainment, demonstrations, vendors and so much more for the entire family to enjoy.

Historic Essex Railway Station - A very charming space that gives visitors the experience of visiting the station for free, with the option to donate towards the maintenance of the building that survived the big bang of 1906/7. Volunteers on site are very knowledgeable and can walk visitors through the station and the history of Essex.

John R. Park Homestead & Conservation Area – Takes you back to the 1850s. The site was built in 1842 and is currently home to many public and private events throughout the year. The park provides hands-on learning opportunities for those interested in learning about life as a pioneer, and why it’s important to preserve our history.

Priscilla’s Presents - A specialty shop that has quite the selectionof different products to satisfy anyone who walks through thedoor. Bath and body products, home decor, baby, women’s fashion and accessories. They also have an in-house ice cream shop that features 36 flavours.
